Ive had been away for a while.
Its been a hectic few weeks with lots to tell.
Firstly I hosted my second annual (can you really call it annual if its only happened twice?) BBQ in Brighton. The turn out wasn’t too bad, think everyone had a good time and thankfully the weather held up until darkness fell. Special mention has to go to Heloise and Steve Heggers for spending the whole of Saturday with me cleaning the house before and after, gardening, and contributing to the shopping. Couldn’t have done it without you both. (and Stevey boy, what a good ‘sess’ on Sunday……. Must do another soon)
The following weekend was another annual event – my birthday. Reaching the depressing quarter of a century mark I decided to do something people don’t often do again after leaving the boy scouts. Camping! Managed to get the old gang from school together for a chilled weekend playing games, Frisbee, ‘special brownies’ and eating spaghetti.
Yup eating spaghetti! One of the members of the group was intent on eating can after can of cold tinned spaghetti. The task was to finish all 24 can by the end of the two days…..
Shamefully I was puking (for no apparent reason) during the Saturday therefore couldn’t contribute.
Thankfully I recovered enough to finish the brownies and to play Frisbee in the dark.
Meanwhile on the work front, I have good news. My A-hole manager may no longer be my manager anymore as of the end of September YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!! YAY!!
Ive managed to finally convince the director dudes to move me to a different department whereby they will also put me onto a Master MSc course at a local university. SUCKERS!!! YAY!!
