18 Days

It has been the longest 18 days I have known. its always a depressing thought when you return from holiday or any kind of trip and you’ve already fallen into the routine of things when suddenly someone reminds you that not too long ago you were living it up in a hot foreign country!

What have I achieved in the same amount of time the earth can be created twice over (apparently)?

Well in the first week I managed to:

unpack and put one load of clothes to wash
clear out my body of all faecal matter with exploding diarrhoea
eat out at various restaurants three nights running depleting any funding I have left in my bank
forget to pay my credit card bill
learn dreamweaver and created half a website
host a poker night with only three people
discover non-dairy soya milk
have a heated discussion with my manager regarding the time given to me for the preparation of my appraisal
decided I didn’t like work very much

In my second week I managed to:

go out for drinks with heloises sister and brother
go our for dinner for heloises sister and brother
drive to heathrow to drop heloises sister off and to watch happy people leave on holiday
find out that half our office (the fun guys) at work are relocating to Croydon
buy more crap on ebay
agree with my manager to give me more responsibility at work
fix a broken lock on our front door

Exciting times!….
