Big brother (and not that shite tv program)

Just found out exactly how closely IT at work can monitor our internet and emails. I would not be shocked to receive a disciplinary meeting at any time soon! Hmmm jobsite, engineeringjobs.com, monsterjobs. Metro fantasy football amongst others. Apparently they also have all my emails stored. Oops, i think I better watch what i say about management in future.

Bog Blog 16/06/06

Still having minor problems emailing from my phone. Heres the bog blog I wrote from Friday:

"Ok, today was like THE best day at work ever (Sarcastically)! There was a morning meeting today where all the 'important' things were discussed and engendered, this finished around 10a.m, WYG being the fabulous and generous company that it is lays on this breakfast for the meeting consisting £60 worth of bacons baguettes, croissants and fruit. As you can imagine, a room of 15 people couldn't finish it all so it was offered to the peons and general office scummers.

The following scene was utter carnage! People were making their way to the free food quicker than towards the fire exit during a fire drill. I came jumped into the tea room with a flying jump kick knocked one colleague over to steal his baguette and gut punched another for his. 2 baguettes and 3 croissants later I was a fuller man and regained my passive state. Morale was at the highest state since the engineering department was forced out and sent to Croydon - Best Day Ever!"

What a sad office I work in.

Bog blog

This is a whole new concept. Blogging whilst on the bog. This will now become a regular feature. As i figure this is in fact the most efficient way of utilising my 'isolation' time.

Favourites

I've decided, Im going to bet on every favourite in the world cup an see how much money I can make.

So far "The French-ies" have let me down and Brazil have done me well.

I class Spain as a liability as they're usually a wild card team, and underperformers but usual story, because I didnt trust them to beat Ukraine they ended up winning a convincing 4-0.

Tonight, Germany are to take the arena. Im banking on Poland getting knocked out and germany winning!

Wunderbar!!

Slimey work

A new female sat at the hot desk next to me at work today and the amount of slimey guys who tried to chat her up was disgusting! Not just the fact they're already married but she was really ugly too. But 'its worth a try' apparently. i'm ashamed i even know these people.

Crap phone

The More You Learn The Less You Know!

Don’t you hate it when clichés are correct! Yesterday I had a bright spark of an idea and decided to invest in some time to read up on setting up my own internet forum to see how difficult it really is. I had learned form a guy I met on the Banjul Challenge that provided you invest in the right software package and do a little reading up you will be fine. (Just to let you in on it, this guy’s work is running a number of websites whereby the membership fees on these sites are enough to earn him a wealthy living.)

I gotta say that from the little reading up I did, I can confirm that I understand even less than when I started. In the land of computers millions of abbreviations seem to take over and before you know it you're reading random lines of text that doesn’t make sense to the regular human being.

How do I even get started? I will have to read up a little more me thinks.
Thankfully there is a Borders bookshop near work where I can sit and read books with no intention of buying. My own private library I like to think of it as. HaHa
